Sam Crutchfield

Principal

Sam oversees the commercial platform for RDG and brings over 25 years of experience in development, leasing, and acquisitions across a diversity of product types including office, retail, industrial and multifamily. In previous roles with Grubb Properties and Grubb Ventures, he specialized in the adaptive re-use conversion and redevelopment of underutilized in-fill properties into creative, mixed-use projects such as Raleigh Iron Works, Dock 1053, and Glenwood Place.  Sam’s primary role is supporting his wife Ashley’s work as the Raleigh Fellows Director discipling recent college graduates.  They have three adult children and love to travel. Sam is a licensed NC broker and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill.
