David Blanton

Development Manager

Originally from Virginia, David studied philosophy at Christopher Newport University and moved to Raleigh in 2017, where he moonlit as a handyman with RDG until completing graduate studies in theology at Duke in 2019. Full-time at RDG since 2020, he leads acquisitions, entitlements, and civil construction project management, specializing in complex infill projects throughout the Triangle. David believes thoughtfully designed places hold the potential to transform lives. He brings analytical rigor and creative problem-solving to land development challenges. When not working, David enjoys reading, gardening with his wife, and spending time with their four children.
